40+ Years of Generational Craft
VEDA SLEEP isn't just a mattress brand. It's the culmination of a 40-year journey across continents, chemistry labs, and quiet revolutions in comfort. It all began in Rajasthan, with a grandfather working with therapeutic waxes. Decades later, that spirit of care evolved into foam expertise, honed in Italy with Rap Technologies in the 1980s. By 1986, this expertise returned home and Sri Krishna Polyurethane Industries was born. From shoe soles to sofa cushioning to pioneering India's first CFC-free foam (long before "clean chemistry" was cool), the family kept building. In 1992, the United Nations took notice. And by 2015, Legend Polyfoams had become the silent powerhouse behind some of India's biggest mattress brands, producing up to 60,000 mattresses a month. In August 2023, we did something radical. We hit pause on contract manufacturing.
